My thoughts exactly,
like my thoughts when I didn’t think I’d hear from you today
or when I thought you’d forgotten all about letting me see those pictures
or when I finally did see those pictures,
and then got a nice surprise at what I did finally see.
I’m learning the key to being happy, and I’m still not very good at it. But I’m learning that when you expect nothing, nothing but what you’re promised, you can get more. There’s a reason they were promised in the first place.
I love you, always, that’s to be expected.
